Rencontre avec Sir Ranulph Fiennes
Ran Fiennes is a 68-year-old British adventurer and holder of several endurance world records. He notably undertook numerous polar expeditions. Between 1979 and 1982, he journeyed around the world on its polar axis (the Transglobe Expedition). In 1992, he and nutrition specialist Dr Mike Stroud completely crossed Antarctica on foot, unsupported, in 93 days. On May 20, 2009, at the age of 65, he successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest becoming the oldest British person to achieve this.
